    We currently have a vacancy for an Area Sales Manager to join our Sales team to cover London & Surrey, reporting to Regional Sales Manager – South.

    The key responsibilities for this role include identifying all potential customers, markets and products across London and Surrey. You will use your natural communication skills to build business relationships to maximise exposure of the company, its products and services. Within this role you will provide feedback on marketing information concerning competitor activity to the Regional Sales Manager and log records via our CRM system.

    To be successful within this role we are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with proven experience of selling to the construction industry through the distributors/merchants route, and with experience of specifiers [architects] and selling to site contractors via distribution channels. You will be able to lead by example in driving the sales performance of the area.

    The applicant will be IT literate with the ability to use your own initiative and to work well as part of a team. You will be an excellent communicator with good planning skills, exceptional selling and negotiation skills with the ability to influence others.

    You will have proven sales negotiation experience at a national account level gained with a leading branded construction products manufacturer preferably selling at senior management level to independent merchants &/or SGBD.

Vacancy 3: Process Engineer

    We currently have a vacancy for a new position of Process Engineer reporting to the Operations Director.

    You will be responsible for identifying, prioritising and driving through plant and production line process improvements. You will be expected to help with the improvement of line speeds, deliver real reductions in waste and cost, whilst increasing the quality of all products and consistency in our manufacturing process.

    You will work closely with the WCM project teams and R&D team on continuous improvement projects and trials. In addition, you will be coach, train and develop operators in WCM and process improvement techniques as well as the ability to drive change and performance.

    You will be educated to degree level ideally in a chemical processing or chemical engineering discipline. IOSH or NEBOSH qualified would be an advantage. You will have proven experience of leading continuous improvement ideally in a WCM environment. Excellent analytical and numerical skills are essential together with experience of delivering presentations and coaching others.

    We currently have a vacancy for a Project Specification Manager to join our Sales team to cover the Northern region, reporting to Regional Sales Manager. The key responsibilities for this role are to lead the project specification and lead generation activity in the Northern region.

    You will support the Regional Sales Manager by developing and maintaining a portfolio of architects, designers and engineers in order to secure firm project specifications. You will need to build and maintain relationships with main contractors and sub-contractors in order to ensure Celotex retain agreed specifications and secure new projects. You will build and maintain a project bank and continuously manage and track leads and projects through all stages managing these through the Area Sales Managers to ensure all actions are met.

    To be successful within this role we are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with proven knowledge and experience of selling to the construction industry at project specification level. You will also have experience of building and maintaining an effective network with the major architectural practices, main contractors and sub-contractors.

Vacancy 5: Quality Control Manager

    Due to internal changes we are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to report to the Operations Director. The role will lead a small team of Quality Technicians responsible for management, development and compliance of quality assurance and quality control standards within the manufacturing process for our products.

    You will monitor and control the quality of non-chemical raw materials to minimise impact to the manufacturing process including conducting manufacturing trials on product and raw material and providing feedback to the team and suppliers.

    In addition, you will undertake monitoring, analysis and reporting of product quality performance and liaise with CTC to investigate and provide feedback on customer complaints.

    You should be educated to HND standard in a chemical or process based discipline, understand chemical processing and WCM principles. In addition, you will have good analytical skills and the ability work with auditors and suppliers and possess good interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills together with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

    This is an essential busy technical function and therefore you should be able to demonstrate and have a willingness to learn, understand and explain technical information relating to building and construction techniques in a calm and professional manner.
