Vacancy 1: Customer Services Manager

    We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Services Manager within the Customer Services Department.

    You will manage the Customer Services team ensuring that all customer enquiries, orders and correspondence for the Company’s products are promptly processed and managed in accordance with customer requirements and Company procedures. You will also maximise sales opportunities via inbound and outbound calling in order to drive sales performance to exceed Company budgets. You will also manage the daily sales administration process ensuring sales databases are maintained and monitoring sales team activities.

    You will have previous proven experience of managing and leading a busy team preferably with an ILM Level 5 or similar Management qualification.  You will also be excellent in customer relationship management with the ability to deal with customers in a calm and professional manner, including resolving complaints.  In addition, you will have strong organisational and planning skills.  You will have a proactive and assertive approach.

    You will have previous proven experience of order processing systems or data management, preferable SAP or Oracle and intermediate level in Microsoft Office. In addition, experience of WCM/lean techniques relevant to Customer Services is desirable.

Vacancy 2: Maintenance Team Leaders

    We currently have 4 vacancies for the new role of Maintenance Team Leader within the Engineering team.

    You will lead the maintenance team to provide professional maintenance standards, maintaining rigour throughout. You will resolve breakdowns safely and efficiently, get to their root cause and enact countermeasures to ensure they do not recur. You will also champion the World Class Mindset program on site, focusing on working to fulfil all requirements of the Reliability pillar. You will co-ordinate all Work Requests, managing their assignment and the relevant communication to all parties involved.

    To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

    • HND Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Multi-skilled.
    • Level 3 City and Guilds Certificate BS7671 / C&G 2381 17th edition.
    • Proven pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical knowledge including PLCs.
    • Circuit (415v 3-phase) & PLC fault finding/basic programming skills preferably Siemens.
    • Proven record of hands on working experience servicing continuous production lines.
    • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of Pemac CMMS software or alternatives.
    • Good experience of man management and a strong team player.
    • Able to work to tight deadlines and have good attention to detail.
    • Strong character with drive, energy and enthusiasm and a pro-active attitude and ability to work on own initiative. 

    These roles will be required to work to a continental shift pattern.

Vacancy 3: Process Engineer (Chemical)

    We currently have a vacancy for a Process Engineer (Chemical) reporting to the Development Manager.

    You will be responsible for the day to day plant production performance of the main production lines in the key areas of plant availability, yield, product and process quality, line speed and waste whilst ensuring the products consistently conform to the required standards and certification.

    You will have a Chemical Engineering qualification and have practiced knowledge and understanding of "hands on" engineering and have a background of a fast paced continous manufacturing environment. You will also ideally have a Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.

    You will have a proven record of initiating, leading, driving and delivering continous improvement changes across a number of projects and experience in Focused Improvement and FMEA/problem solving workshops, and be able to present some detailed case studies to support this.

    You will have the ability to lead, coach and facilitate teams and the ability to communicate with and gain commitment, respect and buy-in from the various levels in the Company. You will also be able to prioritise and make decisions with minimal input and produce and review detailed numerical and statistical analysis on line and overall plant performance.

    A safety qualification such as an IOSH Certificate would be an advantage.
