    We currently have two vacancies for Chemical Controllers within the Tank Farm.  One post will be on permanent nights and the other on a day shift.

    Preferably, you will have previous chemical processing and machine operating experience and must be able to follow detailed instructions, be reliable, conscientious, methodical and accurate as well work as part of a team with other operators and departments.

    You will have good written and numeracy skills, attention to detail and awareness of the importance of quality standards and work instructions.  You need to be fully committed and aware of chemical safety (COSHH) requirements and the importance of good housekeeping in the Tank Farm to ensure safety of drivers, self and others at all times.

    We currently are recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity of Key Account Manager to join the Sales team.                                                         

    Reporting to the National Account and Commercial Manager, this new role will be responsible for developing and generating incremental and profitable sales growth within Saint-Gobain Building Distribution [SGBD] brands/companies as well as independent merchant businesses. 

    You will have proven sales negotiation experience at a national account level gained with a leading branded construction products manufacturer preferably selling at senior management level to independent merchants &/or SGBD.

    You will have proven excellent relationship building skills and good analytical and investigative skills in order to identify new business opportunities and develop, implement and deliver timely solutions and drive sales. A high standard of presentation and IT skills is essential.

    We currently have a vacancy for a Marketing Communications Executive to join our Marketing team.

    You will assist the Marketing Communications Manager with all marketing communications activities including management of social media channels, website, company CRM system and support corporate PR and promotional activities in conjunction with our agency partners.

    Preferably educated to degree level in Marketing or Business Management, you will have a good understanding of marketing with a digital media bias and have proven excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills. You should have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. Previous experience in a business-to-business marketing role is desirable but not essential.

Vacancy 4: Process Engineer

    We currently have a vacancy for a new position of Process Engineer reporting to the Operations Director.

    You will be responsible for identifying, prioritising and driving through plant and production line process improvements. You will be expected to help with the improvement of line speeds, deliver real reductions in waste and cost, whilst increasing the quality of all products and consistency in our manufacturing process.

    You will work closely with the WCM project teams and R&D team on continuous improvement projects and trials. In addition, you will be coach, train and develop operators in WCM and process improvement techniques as well as the ability to drive change and performance.

    You will be educated to degree level ideally in a chemical processing or chemical engineering discipline. IOSH or NEBOSH qualified would be an advantage. You will have proven experience of leading continuous improvement ideally in a WCM environment. Excellent analytical and numerical skills are essential together with experience of delivering presentations and coaching others.

Vacancy 5: Quality Control Manager

    Due to internal changes we are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to report to the Operations Director. The role will lead a small team of Quality Technicians responsible for management, development and compliance of quality assurance and quality control standards within the manufacturing process for our products.

    You will monitor and control the quality of non-chemical raw materials to minimise impact to the manufacturing process including conducting manufacturing trials on product and raw material and providing feedback to the team and suppliers.

    In addition, you will undertake monitoring, analysis and reporting of product quality performance and liaise with CTC to investigate and provide feedback on customer complaints.

    You should be educated to HND standard in a chemical or process based discipline, understand chemical processing and WCM principles. In addition, you will have good analytical skills and the ability work with auditors and suppliers and possess good interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills together with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Vacancy 6: Technical Service Officer

    You will be educated to degree level preferably in a building physics or architectural discipline in order to provide detailed and complex technical advice, guidance and support to potential customers, the specification market and users of our product range and applications.

    This is an essential busy technical function and therefore you should be able to demonstrate and have a willingness to learn, understand and explain technical information relating to building and construction techniques in a calm and professional manner. Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure is essential together with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and good analytical and IT skills.
