What Is The Green Guide Rating Of Celotex Products?
PIR insulation is generically ‘A’ rated in the 2008 Green Guide. However, the Ecopoint score from Celotex’ BRE approved environmental profile allows us to claim a superior ‘A+’ rating when compared to the BRE Green Guide 2008 for many of our products. Celotex was the first provider of PIR insulation to have achieved this rating.
Which Celotex Products Are ‘A+’ Rated?
The core range of Celotex products including TB4000, GA4000 and CW4000 as well as GX4000. We have also recently been awarded this A+ rating for our Celotex FR4000 and CG4000 ranges. The insulation component of our SL4000 range also achieves an A+ rating.
Which Celotex Products Are ‘A’ Rated?
As we have specifically chosen not to submit all of our products for profiling, all other Celotex products achieve an 'A' rating in line with the generic rating provided in the BRE Green Guide 2008. Please note that for TD4000 and PL4000 thermal laminates, only the insulation component achieves this 'A' rating as there is currently no Green Guide rating for plasterboard or plywood.
Previously, You Claimed A+ Ratings For XR4000, FF4000 & TA4000. Why Are These Now Only 'A'? We very very specific on which products we put forward for our resubmission and have therefore chosen not to include these products within our new profile. These products have been replaced with two of our more recent introductions; FR4000 and CG4000
